Monthly Work Day

April 20 @ 10:00 AM 1:00 PM

Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training!

Saturday, April 20, we will be pulling Garlic Mustard and herbiciding Dames Rocket in the Savanna south of 116th Street, just east of the railroad. The prediction is for partly cloudy, with a high of 49 degrees. Winds are expected to be NW at 10 to 20 mph. Wear old clothes in layers, sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. Ticks are already active. We supply tools, water, instructions, and answers to all your questions about the Prairie.

If you have questions for this work day, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!

PLEASE NOTE:
We will meet along 4th Avenue north of 115th Street.
Please park on the east side of 4th Avenue.
After signing in, we will then walk south of 116th Street to the work area.
