Extra Work Day

To keep up with the invasive plants this summer, we will be holding additional workdays between our regular monthly workdays. An extra workday will be held Wednesday, July 22, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We will meet along 3rd Avenue, north of 100th Street. Click here for a map.

What We’re Doing:

We will be removing Queen Anne’s Lace, White Sweet Clover, and Common Mullein. Click here to view examples.

What to Bring: 

• Appropriate footwear for rough ground. 
• Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
• A daypack, sunscreen, tick repellent, and work gloves.
• A water bottle(s) and snacks.

There will be a liability and waiver form for volunteers to sign before the start of work. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!
