Monthly Work Day
February 21 @ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!
This Saturday, February 21, we will be using Makutus to basal bark Aspen resprouts south of Jim Olson Trail (122nd Street). We will meet on 2nd Avenue at 122nd Street near the gate before walking west towards the RR tracks. Click here for directions to the meeting location.
Workday cancellations will be posted on our website and Facebook by 8:00 AM on the workday. If you are unsure whether a workday will take place, please use good judgement when deciding whether or not to attend.
