Monthly Work Day

Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! Dress for the weather, wear old clothes (including long pants), sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there! We will meet on 2nd Avenue at 122nd Street near the gate.

Saturday, September 20, we will split between purple loosestrife and black swallowwort. The prediction is for cloudy with possible showers, with a high of 72 degrees. Winds are expected to be SE at 10 to 15mph. Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. We supply tools, water, instructions, and answers to all your questions about the Prairie.
