Monthly Work Day

Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! Dress for the weather, bring work gloves, and protective eyewear. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there! We will meet on 2nd Avenue at 122nd Street near the gate.

Activities for this work day will involve:

• Removing mainly White Sweet Clover (pull/cut/bag), Queen Anne’s Lace (pull and drop), and Common Mullein (pull and bag), pull/bag Deptford Pink. Click here to view examples.
