Monthly Work Day
March 15 @ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! Dress for the weather, bring work gloves, and protective eyewear. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!
On Saturday, March 15, we will be cutting and herbiciding brush along the west side of Lakeshore Drive between 100th and 102nd Streets (outlined in red on the map below). We will be cutting and stacking brush from this area for later chipping.
Parking will be along the west side of Lakeshore Drive. Click here for a map. Additional parking is along the south side of 102nd Street. Both locations shown in aqua color on the map below. If parking along 102nd Street, you will need to walk east to Lakeshore Drive and then north to the meeting location to avoid the creek.
Workday cancellations will be posted on our website and Facebook by 8:00 AM on the workday. If you are unsure whether a workday will take place, please use good judgement when deciding whether or not to attend.
