Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training!
Saturday, February 15, we will be cutting and herbiciding brush a bit north along what used to be 93rd Street between Lakeshore Drive and 3rd Avenue. If weather conditions permit, brush piles will be burned. Please consult the map and park on 3rd Avenue.
Dress for the weather (wear old clothes in layers), bring work gloves, and protective eyewear. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!
