Monthly Work Day

Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in. We hope to see you there!
This Saturday, January 18, we will be cutting brush, treating cut stumps, dragging, piling and (weather permitting) burning brush piles.
The prediction is for clouds, with a high near 28 degrees. Winds are expected to be NW at 13mph. Dress for the weather. Wear old clothes in layers, sturdy shoes or boots, hat, work gloves, and protective eyewear. We supply tools, water, instructions, and answers to all your questions about the Prairie.
We will meet along 3rd Avenue, approximately 250 feet southeast of 93rd Street.
