Volunteer on our Chiwaukee Prairie Work Days as we to restore quality habitat for prairie plants and animals. All we need is you to help! No experience necessary. On the job training! Dress for the weather, bring work gloves, and protective eyewear. We have tools and the equipment to get the job done. If the weather is warm, be sure to bring plenty of water. If you have questions, call Nathan at 262.694.7351. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in prior to 10:00 AM. We hope to see you there!
We are NOT meeting at the usual 122nd Street and 2nd Avenue. Instead, take 1st Court south from 116th Street just over a mile until you reach the end of 1st court, approximately 700 feet past the marina entry/just north of the state line. Park in the area shown on the map here or click here. Please do not block the orange gate or the bicycle path. We will be working west of the parking area walking on the path west of the orange gate.
