Extra Work Day
We will hold an extra workday on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The meeting place will be at 4th Avenue north of 115th Street in the Carol Beach neighborhood of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Please park on the east side of 4th Avenue. Join us for all or part of the workday. Click here for a map.
What We’re Doing:
We will be removing garlic mustard, dame’s rocket, and other invasive spring plants in the oak savanna of the Chiwaukee Prairie State Natural Area. Click here for examples.
The forecast is for cloudiness with occasional rain showers. The high will be around 65F. Winds will be WSW at 10 to 20 mph.

PLEASE NOTE:
We will meet along 4th Avenue north of 115th Street.
Please park on the east side of 4th Avenue.
After signing in, we will likely walk south of 116th Street to the work area. If you arrive late, please call to confirm our location.

- Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
- A daypack, sunscreen, tick repellent, leather gloves, and safety glasses.
- A water bottle(s), a thermos filled with a warm beverage, and snacks.
