"Acquire, restore, preserve and manage prairie lands in the Chiwaukee Prairie - Carol Beach area of Kenosha County, Wisconsin which include rare, endangered and threatened species, lands with natural diversity, and viable self-sustaining ecological communities as well as to promote the conservation education of its members and the general public."

CPPF Receives Citizen-based Monitoring Partnership Program Grant
	Chiwaukee Prairie is a haven for rare plants. At least 23 Wisconsin-listed rare plants are known to grow in Chiwaukee Prairie. Right on the border with Illinois, the prairie is home to an additional 13 species considered rare in Northeast Illinois. This makes Chiwaukee Prairie the ideal site to expand the Chicago Botanic Garden's Plants of Concern (POC) monitoring program into Wisconsin. Learn More Here
